Daniel Carlton McKenzie

Mr. Daniel Carlton McKenzie age 88 of  Lyeffion passed away Monday May 22, 2017 at Evergreen Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Bowles Assembly of God Church. Rev. Jeremy Yoder and Rev. Larry Johnson will be officiating.

Interment will follow in Lyeffion Baptist Church cemetery with Cope-Keahey Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the Church one hour prior to services.

Survivors include a daughter, Martha (Gilbert) McKenzie Dancy of Millbrook Al., devoted and loving nephew who was like a son, Vince (Jenny) Watts of Alabaster Al. and grandson Jackson Watts.

Mr. McKenzie was a 1950’s graduate of Lyeffion High school and he was a longtime member of Bowles Assembly Of God

Serving as pallbearers Brad Watts, Mark Watts, Baily Watts, Michael Watts, Alex Fischer and Robert Crosby

He was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Peggy Watts McKenzie who died in 2015.
